The responsibilities of this position are to develop skills associated with the development, implementation, and execution of Quality Assurance (QA) programs to support the Maintenance Departments. This includes, but is not limited to, the welding program, the metrology program, supporting nuclear safety related work, maintenance overhauls, precision measuring, and understanding of large scale fabrication projects. Also responsible for completing administrative tasks associated with programmatic efforts and attend training when required. Responsible for ensuring proper documentation of maintenance activists, proper electronic storage of the documents, and that all quality requirements are met throughout the course of a project.
- Perform predictive maintenance and testing on major plant components, writing reports, and maintaining the logs.
- Perform maintenance and calibration in support of plant operations.
- Provide technical support to maintenance staff, and engineering.
-Provide technical assistance in support of others, applies technical knowledge to help promote a safe work environment and to enhance customer satisfaction.
Writes welding and other documentation in support of the quality assurance (QA) program
- Review documentation, including but not limited to NDE reports, welding documentation, reports, data sheets, project non-conformity reports, etc to ensure accuracy prior to completion of projects.
- Update programmatic and maintenance procedures as required.
- Work with the project planner prior to starting a project to produce initial work package.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Associates Degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related field OR
- HS Diploma and minimum of 18 months of trade or technical training in Power Plant Technology or related field
- Minimum 5 years Power Plant experience.
- Must be able to reliably report to work as required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and strong customer focus skills.
- Experience with PCs (Word, Excel, etc.) and Internet applications for program tracking.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with electrical apparatus testing and data interpretation.
- Experienced in the testing and calibration of relays.
- Qualified Clearance and Tagging Holder.
- Ability to plan minor maintenance work orders
- Must be able to obtain clearance for unescorted Nuclear access to Exelon Nuclear power plants.
- Maintenance experience on plant equipment, including pumps, valves, or turbines OR fabrication/welding experience
- Desire to learn new skills in advanced monitoring techniques.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
