Supervisor, EIS Field Ops - Welding

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for the direction, assignment, and coordination of Exelon Industrial Services(EIS) heavy industrial services and maintenance workforce across Exelon affiliates and third party customers, to support safe, reliable, and efficient services consistent with Exelon and customer goals and standards. Supervise and provide direction to multi-craft workers to support procedure use and adherence, human performance fundamentals, technical human performance techniques and provide coaching and mentoring as necessary to achieve continuous improvement.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Effectively direct maintenance activities and personnel to assure all assigned maintenance is performed safely and effectively, by qualified workers, and in accordance with customer approved procedures and schedules. Activities being supervised may be at any Exelon affiliate or external customer including nuclear and non-nuclear generation facilities, regulated utility infrastructure or other industrial facilities.
Participate in various aspects of work control coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings, to ensure that work is properly assigned, planned and ready to execute.
Effectively communicate and address plant and personnel issues to the appropriate levels of EIS and station management. Foster open communications and collaboration between all organizations internal and external to EIS.
Oversee project and maintenance activities of multidisciplinary team in regards heavy industrial services and maintenance, mobilization of equipment and tooling as well as interfacing with site management and specific contract personnel. Satisfy contractual obligations, meet project milestones and optimize short-term and long-term company profit by effectively managing and facilitating resources.
Understand, support, and administer all EIS processes, such as the training program, surveillance program, procedure revisions, and CAP to ensure effective work practices. Identify and support improvement opportunities and development, implementation and performance monitoring of all corporate and site Business Goals and objectives.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum:
BS in engineering or technical field and 6 years professional experience OR
Associates Degree and 8 years professional experience with 3 years experience in field you will supervise OR
H. S. Diploma and 10 years professional experience with 5 years experience in the field you will supervise
Minimum of 5 years power plant (or related) experience
Leadership ability to implement and manage corporate change initiatives and organizational strategies
Must successfully pass the Exelon Supervisory Assessment Center evaluation unless presently a First Line Supervisor who has continuously supervised maintenance or operating personnel for a minimum of twelve months
Availability for on-call assignment, shift-work and weekend duty
At least or more than 70% travel throughout the Exelon Power system as assigned.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal
Strong computer skills, including knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products
Be knowledgeable of the AMSE & AWS requirements for welding
10 Years of welding knowledge on power Plant systems.
Oversee the welding in the field as necessary to maintain quality.
Interface with EIS supervision also the plant maintenance people for the welding requirements.
Must be able to understand weld symbols and fabrication prints.
Have a good working knowledge of applicable welding codes ,and good welding practice.
Have a good working knowledge of welding requirements for visual inspection and NDE for all all site coge applications.
Must be able to obtain clearance for unescorted Nuclear access to Exelon Nuclear power plants.
Preferred:
Working knowledge of Maximo, Passport or SAP work management system
PC proficiency, especially with the suite of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Power Point
Working knowledge of generators, boilers/heat exchangers, motors and gas/steam turbines, MOV's and AOV's
5-6 years military engineering, operations, or maintenance experience
First class qualified
Exempt level experience
Position reports to Manager, Maintenance
Provides safe and efficient utilization of multi-craft workforce, equipment and materials to operate and maintain plant facilities and complete outages and projects at minimial cost
Responsible for daily supervision, monitoring, coaching and appraising of up to 20 craft associates to ensure a productive workforce in compliance with company policies, procedures and collective bargaining agreement

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
