Job Description

Summary of the duties of the position:

Accountable for providing site wide instrument and electrical systems maintenance and project support to ensure the achievement of production goals

Primary responsibilities for this position:

  • Troubleshoots area instrument and electrical systems equipment issues

  • Provides Operations Supervisor's first line of support for solving instrument and electrical equipment reliability issues

  • Tracks, manages, and analyzes area instrument and electrical systems

  • Conducts Bad Actor analysis

  • Supports IE planning for shutdowns

  • Manages instrument and electrical systems shutdown planning & execution

  • Trains & improves maintenance management processes & SOPs

  • Identifies and scopes potential instrument and electrical systems improvement projects

  • Manages small projects for instrument and electrical systems

  • Manages and update instrument and electrical equipment lists, assignments and documents in SAP, DMS, etc

Required Skills

  • Coordinates external support for instrument and electrical maintenance troubleshooting

  • Develops instrument and electrical equipment maintenance plans

  • Develops and updates PM, PdM, and CBM routines

  • Develops Maintenance & Operations Training for new instrument and electrical equipment

  • Identifies and manages critical instrument and electrical spares and inventory levels

  • Performs Equipment Availability/Failure Analysis

  • Supports¬  instrument and electrical shops when supervisor is away

  • Participates in safety programs and initiatives

  • Supports & facilitates RCAs

  • Writes and edits SOP/work instructions

  • Supports the training of site personnel

  • Participates on Management of Change (MOCs) process

  • Participates in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) including GMP and PSSR

  • Conducts Commissioning and Startup Activities

  • Conducts daily plant inspections and walkthroughs

  • Conducts OIRs and incident investigations

  • Supports Purchasing/GRs/New Vendors/Req's

  • Redlines Engineering Drawings and Documents

  • Manages and catalogs engineering documents and drawings

  • Manage process information and updates for P&ID, MOC, Interlock Sched, etc.

  • Assists with emergencies

Required Experience

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 3+ years electrical engineering experience in a petro-chemical manufacturing plant or other heavy industrial setting

  • Experience with PLC and Distributed Control Systems

  • Experience with motors, motor control, and medium voltage electrical distribution systems

  • Knowledge of process control instrumentation

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
